The Game Plan

Won an 2021 Eddie Award for the “Consumer, Overall” category.

Co-led with Creative Director, Jenna Brillhart, this editorial package was ideated by the both of us to highlight women and non-binary individuals who were making changes in the male-driven video game industry.

We both oversaw the whole package, from inception to completion; Jenna managed the entire design team while I managed the editorial team.

A Time to Heal

I thought of this idea to help our audience transition from COVID life to regular life while they manage their grief and trauma through mental health practices. (This was when we thought things were going back to “normal.”)

I worked closely with Art Director, Jenna Brillhart, to ideate the overall visual feel of the package, create original content as well as curate old stories for the package, edit and manage in-house and freelance writers, and oversaw entire workflow from inception to production.

Home for the Holidays

Idea created by HG’s Editorial Director, Hayley Manson, I was asked to lead this editorial package for HelloGiggles’ 2021 holiday calendar year to highlight how to safely celebrate the holidays during COVID.

HG team brainstormed ideas for package, whereas I managed and edited freelance and in-house writers, oversaw workflow of entire team involved in the package, and worked closely with the design and photo team to ideate and approve visuals.

Going Green Without Going Mad

I was asked to spearhead this editorial package for HG in 2020 to highlight sustainable practices and women who were making a difference in the sustainable space.

I oversaw the whole package, from managing in-house and freelance writers to working closely with the design team to managing entire workflow of the package.

Generation Next

Co-led with HG’s Editorial Assistant, Morgan Noll, we created the stories and worked closely with the design and photo team to ideate imagery and approve visuals and graphics for a package that celebrated generation Z and how they’re changing the future for the better.

During this package, I was also training Morgan on how to spearhead editorial packages for HelloGiggles, from managing the workflow of entire packages to editing individual stories.

State of Female Pleasure

Idea created by Editorial Director, Hayley Mason, she asked me to ideate 12 stories for the month-long package. I worked closely with the design team to ideate the overall feel and visual of the package and oversaw the workflow, writers, and execution of the stories from start to finish.
